Before you cancel, please take a moment to review your options. In some cases, pausing your subscription may be more suitable.
If you do decide to cancel, it’s important you understand what happens next and what responsibilities move back to you.
If you’re not working for a short time, you don’t need to cancel.
You can pause your subscription instead. While it’s paused, we’ll still monitor your tax deadlines and file any tax returns that are due to HMRC. This costs £7.50 per week (half price) and will return to £15 per week once you’re back working.

If you cancel completely, you could miss HMRC deadlines, risk fines, and create extra work for yourself when you return.
Please note that if you cancel and later decide to rejoin, a £100 reactivation fee will apply.
If you’ve stopped working as a courier driver, please contact us before cancelling, as you may still have tax returns that need to be submitted.

You can stay subscribed and we’ll help you finish everything properly. We’ll submit any tax returns that are due and, if you’re fully stopping self-employment, we can close things down and inform HMRC for you. Once everything has been filed and you’ve been deregistered where needed, you can then unsubscribe.
If you’d prefer to handle everything yourself, that’s completely fine. Just remember that once your subscription ends, you’ll be responsible for sending any due tax returns, telling HMRC you’ve stopped, and making sure everything is closed correctly.
It’s important this is done properly so you don’t face unexpected fines later.
If you’re thinking of switching accountants, we’d love to understand why. There may be something we can improve or help with before you make a final decision.
If you’ve already made up your mind, we’ll continue working until the end of your billing period, and after that, responsibility will transfer to your new accountant.
We’ll also share your tax documents and any important details with them so they have everything they need from us.
If you decide to cancel but continue working as self-employed, you’ll be responsible for handling your own taxes going forward.
We may still be able to help. Click here to chat with us.
This means submitting your own tax returns, managing any VAT responsibilities, keeping records up to date, and making sure deadlines are met. You can either do this yourself or make your own arrangements with another accountant.
Once your subscription ends, we’ll no longer be responsible for any future filings or deadlines.
